The 2019 Kia Sorento is Already Turning Heads

The Kia Sorento has long been one of Kia's best-loved vehicles, and its reputation for excellence has only been growing with time. With the 2018 Kia Sorento impressing new drivers, Kia already has its sight set on upping its game in 2019.

Revealed at the end of November at the Los Angeles International Auto Show, the 2019 edition of this popular SUV was revealed to include some big improvements and impressive new takes on standard equipment. The 2019 model, for instance, will include three rows and seven seats as standard equipment on all trims. It will also enjoy a new driver assistance system, improved audio, and wireless device charging technology. Drivers will also be able to take advantage of a new 8-speed automatic transmission with a revised 6-speed gearbox.

“In the highly-competitive crossover category, the Sorento is a clear example of how world-class design and craftsmanship are executed,” said Orth Hedrick, the vice president of product planning at KMA. “Our popular utility now ups its game even further with enhancements in styling, packaging, and content, making it even more attractive to shoppers seeking a premium level 3-row SUV.”

The 2019 Sorento will also come with refined styling that improves both its exterior appearance and interior design. Under the hood, it will enjoy a choice of two powertrains: a 2.4-liter inline-4 GDI and 3.3-liter V6 GDI. It will come in five trims and have options for a wide range of technology options aimed at improving the experience of both the driver and passengers.
